Mission Statement
Allentown Barber School’s mission is to train students in all aspects of the art of barbering. Our goal is to provide students with the skills needed to take and pass the Pennsylvania State Board Exam of Barbering and to obtain employment in this vast profession. We will ensure this by empowering our students to learn the fundamentals of this field and provide an exceptional curriculum. Our staff will also continuously pursue educational classes to ensure the students implement the most advanced and popular trends in their field.
History
Allentown Barber School, founded by Waad Dayoub, is dedicated to nurturing aspiring barbers. Waad discovered her passion for barbering in 2011 at Lehigh Valley Barber School, where she swiftly attained licensure as a barber, manager, and teacher. Now, her mission is to impart her expertise by establishing her own school, ensuring that students not only obtain their barbering licenses but also embark on successful careers within nine months of enrollment. Additionally, as the owner of Fade on 3rd Barber Shop, home to many talented barbers, Waad’s goal is to elevate the skills of every barber to the highest level.
Facilities and Equipment
Allentown Barber School is located in a shopping complex. It occupies 1400 square feet consisting of a classroom for theory and a 10-chair client clinic room. Allentown Barber School has an administrative office to welcome all interested students.
Number of Students Allowed
Allentown Barber School is designed to hold up to 20 students during the day and up to an additional 20 students for those interested in night classes.
